Seventeen years old Amalia is addicted to going to Shiva's (Jewish grieving ceremony) of people she doesn't know and collecting obituaries. The Shiva's allow her to meet people, hear stories, tell stories, but mainly - repress her own loneliness. One afternoon she finds herself at Mr. Kovarsky's Shiva, where she experiences a life-changing encounter.
